On this day for Canada, we can remember killings. (Montreal’s École Polytechnique Fourteen women lost their lives that day.)
Obviously gun problems aren't going away. The parents of the school boy killer have been charged with complicity of sorts, a new tactic. I'm not against gun ownership for qualified with laws for control.
Licensing for sure. Restrictions on weapons for sure. Controlled sales with a wait time and back ground search.
I think anyone that buys-sells or provides a gun to a juvenile, or in any other illegal dealing must be prosecuted.
There is room to add controls and charges and it is time some were implemented The NRA is simply an anachronism AND that should be charged if any crime can be traced to their involvement. There is nothing that can justify a military semi-automatic weapon designed for killing, being in the hands of a civilian.

Hmmm... not sure about charging the NRA, or how they could be involved in parents or kids purchasing a weapon.
The U.S. has a completely different gun culture than we do, it's horrifying actually but I like that they can defend themselves.
