Does anyone here know how to insert a link into a post in a single step.
I can do it by saving the link into Word Pad and then inserting it later.
I would like to be able to add it to a post automatically.

I sometimes paste it into Word if I'm accumulating stuff to post.

Sorry folks. I know how to do it in my desktop as you have described it.
I can go to the link and highlight it and copy and paste it.
It's on my Tablet that I have the problem. Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
On a tablet, you don't have the bells and whistles like the desktop. No mouse and no keyboard.
You reply to a post, but to get to the link you have to leave the post and pick up the link.
I want to stay in the post like the desktop.
There must be a way but I have struggled to find it.

Agreed the copy and paste function with a tablet is not as easy as a PC, but it can become sort of easy. If I have a link I want to insert, I usually go to the top 3 dots, and click Share. Here you can send the link to any mail client, (I have multiple Gmail and Outlook on my tablet), or you can just copy the link. Once copied, you can then paste it into a post on another screen. I usually don't clear my history screen until I'm done whatever I'm doing, just in case I need to go back and relook.

It's like saving it to the clipboard.
