I wear my 'Tee' inside out which makes my wife rant and shout. I have a reason but she never asks, just regularly takes me to task.
Those tags they put in the neck at the back are a discomfort to me and who cares, none around but uss'ns. BTW. Looking at an old movie..40's maybe, semi formal suits and ties, maybe a vest look quite similar if not the same as such attire today in similar situ. I won't wear a tie or a suit ever again. I wouldn't be seen dead in such.
I can't understand convention? Why those stupid neck ties, court wigs and gowns?? About time there was a clothing revolution. Get rid of non functional things in dress. We done did it with undershirts for the most part. (*see Clarke Gable Undershirt.) We stopped with hats and gloves but for some reason, black tie & tails and even a cummerbund, waist coat and such are regarded as 'proper' at a time and place.
Some are revolutionaries wearing no sock, sandals and BB caps. Some are kicking old habits, but in days gone by my granny would have tut- tutted my present attire..on thinking, so does my wife... today...

So, why don't you just cut the tag off?

So, why don't you just cut the tag off? That usually leaves a piece with the thread. I usually try to tear off first.

I wear a black T shirt under most things, find it warm and they are cotton so breath in summer. I have a closet full of clothes, and I always seem to wear the same old comfortable stuff, sweat shirts, jeans, and runners. Today I found a pair of dress pants laying on the closet floor at the back, I couldn't even remember ever wearing them, but guess at some point in my life they were fashionable . I'll be a well dressed corpse, bought a new suit in 2004 in preparation for a family members funeral, and he didn’t want one, so still waiting for someone else to die. 😱

I seem to go for the same clothes with others sitting for years. We get fixed in our habits as we age, familiar is good-- Same with food.
Most of my clothes are way to big now on loosing so much weight. Good thing Linda has a sewing machine.
I don't remember the last time I bought any clothes, probably a decade or more.
I like T's with a breast pocket.

I like my T's without any pockets, but any jacket or coat has to have an inside breast pocket or I won't buy it. Last clothing I bought was at Costco last week, a sweatshirt style 3 button pullover with a fleece lining, warm and toasty and on sale this week for $13, I bought a couple, can't go too far wrong for the price.
