What a failure. The Truth and blah blah blah holiday that HE created for whatever reason, like the election NOT Needed, was celebrated by the Trudeau's by going to the beach on vacation.
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation was made a federal statutory holiday this year and will be marked annually on Sept. 30. It honours the children who died
The VERY FIRST DAY of same was ignored by the initiator!
Now many, including me also ignored the day. We didn't need a reminder. Nothing has received more attention press/media coverage/political attention and drum beating in Canada than indigenous mistreatment and abuse. I seldom bother to read the depressing accounts any more, I know I'm not to blame. It seems there are enough claims and attention to same that have been brought to Canada's attention without a day to observe or as in Trudeau's case, ignore.
His lack of ethics has again shown what is important to him...HIM.
A day to be be selfish and just practice it as another day off or vacation day. By Trudeau's disregard, snub, and open dismissal, , it is just another faux pas to apologize for..Uh sorry, just wasn't thinking I'm privileged ya know and some times I just goof up, So sorry".
Were I a native I would figuratively hypercritically be after his scalp, but then I'd likely be the one beating a drum in encouragement.

IF there's a sincere bone in the bonehead it's the humerus. A laughable entitled clown.

He didn't apologize, he only expressed 'regret', and that was only because he got caught.

He didn't apologize, he only expressed 'regret', and that was only because he got caught.
Might be a question in semantics, but it reads as such. "Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with the chief of Tk'emlúps Nation yesterday and offered an apology for not following up on invitations to visit her community, the nation confirmed Sunday.
From link. "Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized today for travelling for a family vacation to Tofino, B.C., last Thursday on the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, saying the decision was a mistake."
He has shown once again an inability to practice sensible judgment in holding the office of P.M.
Time and again he commits faux pas and apologizes. Time and again, Liberal voters don't care. His entitlement and foolish behaviour is accepted. I guess the Conservatives muddled policies are clouding the voters heads.

The world doesn't revolve around the indigenous.
Enough with the apologies which don't count unless there is a cheque attached.
Family time is important.

The world doesn't revolve around the indigenous. Enough with the apologies which don't count unless there is a cheque attached. Family time is important. I seldom read an article or listen to/watch anything on indigenous problems anymore since the media is flooded with their issues. I never did one any wrong, nor did about 99 % of current Canadians.
