to many countries by lying when seeking immigration. It sickens me that they get to enjoy 'our' countries for a lifetime years when they aided in the slaughter of so many.
There's a Nazi in Canada, "Helmut Oberlander will never get on a plane and be deported from Canada despite being a former member of a Nazi killing squad during the Second World War —"

I have to ask, has he led an unlawful life there in Canada? Lying for citizenship makes him unlawful in his life in Canada. As a Nazi he is a criminal for life by the allies including the USA and Canada. So yes, absolutely. Lying for refugee, immigration or citizenship is a deportation offence. “Over 20,000 innocent people were executed by the applicant’s unit."
Added content Tues. " Oberlander has been fighting attempts to strip his citizenship and deport him since 1995.
Oberlander and his wife came to Canada in 1954. He became a Canadian citizen six years later. He did not disclose his wartime experience when he applied to emigrate, upon entering Canada or when seeking citizenship.
Canadian Jewish Congress president Mark Freiman said last week, the issue is not how Oberlander came to be attached to the unit, but rather that he lied about it to gain entry into Canada and to obtain Canadian citizenship.
Why do you ask?

The ignominious NAZI death squad member has died.
at rest but I'm sure not at peace.
One might well ask,
What about those that perished in the Holocaust at the hands of that Nazi unit? They didn’t get to die peacefully at home surrounded by their families. They got their dignity, their lives, everything taken away from them. As did, Michael Levitt, president of the Canadian Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies, said there was a “great sadness justice was never done.”
B’nai Brith Canada said it was frustrated with Canada’s failure to deport Oberlander.
“The peaceful demise of Helmut Oberlander on Canadian soil is a stain on our national conscience,” Michael Mostyn, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada, said in a statement.
“The fact is that this country slammed its doors on Jewish refugees fleeing the Nazis, then allowed some of their tormentors into Canada and failed to deport them.”
You can obviously play our system with repeated appeals and hearings.

Oberlander served from 1941 to 1943 as an interpreter with the Ek 10a unit, which was responsible for killing more than two million people, most of them Jews....and lived here in Canada illegally for 60 years tying up our incompetent Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship department and courts.
What a farcical display!!!

Back in Germany, we don’t want him contaminating our soil. A little late for that after decades of appeals that let him live a life the Nazis took from o many. His family thinks he's a great guy anf will want him interred here so they can promote his legacy.
