The current Pandemic is hardly systemic

Facing the current Pandemic that is widely systemic,

yet unlikely to just fade away.

With continued variants,

and many contrariants,

 A sad future the statistics convey.

This ubiquitous epidemic, and seeming cures, academic

leads to portents of utter dismay.

With masks we do cover from every each and other,

uttering silently alas and lack a day.

So there!

Seemingly none here enjoy my poetry.

I admit to considerable drollery.

Still if it's too whimsical in manner

Or simply just wasted banter,

I will take it as simply intelligentsia snobbery !
