Well, Ford won with a landslide but a low voter turnout which has brought on numerous calls for election reform. I don't see Ford changing the system for Ontario but Trudeau did promise to do it in 2015. However, he has reneged on that promise, why, well, he favours the Ranked Ballot system which IMO is not popular, those who want reform prefer Proportional Rep.
At a town hall in Ottawa recently Trudeau advocated a ranked ballot, telling students to pick "the red guy 1st, the orange girl 2nd, the green person 3rd, and then you never get the blue person."
Also confirms his preference for the ranked ballot. Electoral reform should be about what’s fair for voters, not what’s best for your party, as if his personal opinion should decide the issue.
