I have mixed my seed starting mix. I filled a few cells and will insert some pepper seeds tomorrow.

I'm starting parsley. For my windowsill. Too much snow to even think about outdoor gardening. It's going to be a flood this year.

What do you do with your banana skins and egg shells? I grind them and add to the soil when I am repotting houseplants and to the planting hole when I am transplanting seedlings in the garden. Potassium from the skins and calcium from the shells. I also add a little epsom salts to the mixture. Here is what it looks like. Just egg shells and egg shells with the ground up peels. We had a lot of rain and snow melt over the weekend. I had a river of sorts in my yard. The first picture shows the water snaking in the field below the driveway and the second one shows the water entering the culvert above driveway.

You are a busy beaver, I do not have a green thumb but I can't bend down or do any kind of gardening these days.

I am getting ready for Spring/Summer. I purchased two plants: a bush peony and a dahlia. They should brighten up my garden. The dahlia may flower this year but the peony maybe next year. Peony and dahlia
