Well, I'm finding Netflix doesn't have that much stuff I want to watch anymore, might cancel it. However, we really wanted to watch Dexter: New Blood but it's only available on Crave, but what a nuisance. I'm have serious mobility issues at the moment so am watching a lot of TV.
It was on half price through Shaw our TV provider so I ordered it, will cancel after the 3 months. Well, it's not the same as the streaming app, they just offer programming like the normal stuff, can't order up what you want, and, no Dexter! So, I had to phone them which was fun, forever on hold then finally someone who didn't seem to be all that well informed. She couldn't tell me why Dexter wasn't available even tho it's advertised, not a clue.
So, I gave up with her, called my son who told me I could log into the Crave streaming app with Shaw's ID... ha ha eureka! I had to go the app menu on the TV, install the Crave App then sign in, yeah, success we are watching Dexter... (and it's not looking good for Dexter)
Then I tried to cancel a couple of packages we don't want, the kids channels and one of the PBS channels. We have both Detroit and Buffalo PBS because hubby insisted on it cos he thinks they are both different, they are not
Anyhoo, this gal said I couldn't just cancel them, I had to cancel the package we had and take a different package and that the 2 PBS channels were part of our package... I know that is not true because we pay extra for the 2nd PBS channel... by this time I was frosted off so let it go. Now I have to sit on hold again some time, and hope I get someone who is more knowledgeable.
I'll keep crave until the good weather gets here, then cancel it.
P.S. one thing I noticed with Shaw: you can go on line and order new channels instantly but but guess what, you cannot cancel them on line, you have to phone.
