MY Canada ranking overall time is also #1 and has pretty much always been with exceptions on the Arrow cancellation, Pierre's coziness with commy Cuba and Justin's praise of China.
Still, where and when Canada fails at something it has to be recognized and accepted unless that can be refuted by factual examples. If any can fault the stats with facts. Avoiding reality doesn’t make it go away.
It’s been obvious for some time that the Liberals are living in a fantasy land when it comes to the economy and Canada’s finances.

Where Canada fails.
Impaired driving is the No. 1 cause of criminal death in Canada.
This July, the Centers for Disease Control released a report that identified the involvement of alcohol in 34 percent of Canada’s motor vehicle crashes. The high percentage earned Canada the dubious distinction of No. 1 out of 20 countries.
Laws
Canada is the only country out of 60 they examined that fails to meet every single one of the 20 criteria his organization uses to judge protections. Canada's weak whistleblower laws leave informants exposed to retribution and it's time to bolster protections before a crisis hits, says a U.S. expert.
Canada largely fails to successfully convict money launderers with almost three-quarters of people accused going free, a Global News investigation has found.
From 2000-2016, Canada recorded 321 guilty verdicts in money-laundering cases, according to an analysis of data provided by Statistics Canada.

Transparency
Starting with Trudeau, Canada is not forthright with its citizens in some areas of politics and elections.
Elections Canada keeps secret thousands of rulings, MPs fail to ask key questions.
Spending
The liberals cerb plan,37 billion went to many cheats that played the system. The payout to seniors had no controls either. In both cases and more those getting government $$$ didn't qualify for aid in respect to needs. Waste on buying 'used' military.
Waste in a phony election. There are many businesses that can't hire help, rather staying on the dole or working under the table.
Immigration and refugees
Our borders are like Swiss cheese with illegals entering pretty much at will.
Then if they get housed fed and med. care there case eventually comes to a hearing and IF they attend and are turned down many simply disappear into their communities.
It is reported that many buy into our country, get citizenship, buy real estate, then return to their homeland.
From accounts I've read, of terrorism, FGM, multi wives, it seems there is poor vesting of applicants.
How many illegals are in Canada, "According to the Canada Border Services Agency, anyone found to be living in Canada illegally will first be issued a removal order and then deported from the country. If an individual appeals a removal order, the deportation cannot take place until the appeal has been decided.
The Toronto Sun reported that there were between 35,000 and 120,000 illegal immigrants in Canada in 2013, approximately 40,000 of which the auditor general lost track of. Canada's illegal immigration policy is relatively lax compared to the policies of other first world nations."

Indigenous
The record shows forced attendance at schools with the goal of assimilation. "According to a 2021 report by Canadian public broadcaster CBC, more than 150,000 First Nation, Métis, and Inuit children were forced to attend church-run, government-funded schools from the 1870s to 1997, and an organization examining residential schools in Canada have identified or otherwise obtained information on more than 4,100 children who died while attending such schools.
Canada weak on crime
International ("TI") released its annual Corruption Perceptions Index and one of the big developments was Canada's falling from its coveted position within the top 10 of least corrupt countries in the world.
Indeed, Canada slipped four points in one year (2018 to 2019) to the number 12 position with a score of 77/100. This position leaves Canada trailing behind peers like Germany, the Netherlands, and Norway, though it is still at the top in the Americas (the US ranked 23rd and Mexico ranked 130th out of 180 countries).

The issue is that punishments for heinous crimes are not nearly long enough.
Life sentences are not for life, nor do many multiple murders get sequential sentences.
The previous government tried to toughen up the broken justice system, but the soft-on crime Trudeau Liberals are dismantling many of those measures.
As a result, our justice system remains weak, and often seems devoid of any moral compass. Then the 'Justice System" puts family victims through years of hearings to consider probation.

Natives face mitigated sentences for crimes and now Blacks are asking for similar sentence mitigation.
Health Care
Dare I say it without some troll getting personal and Facts are facts, accepted or not.
Canada's Health Care Ranks poorly. (2021)
"Canada has been ranked third-to-last in a detailed new study comparing health-care systems in 11 developed nations, managing to beat out only France and the bottom-ranked United States.
"According to the study, which relies on 72 metrics grouped into five distinct categories (Care Process, Access, Administrative Efficiency, Equity, and Health Care Outcomes), those weaknesses include Canada’s comparatively higher infant mortality rate, the prevalence of chronic conditions, long wait times in emergency rooms and to see specialists, poor availability of after-hours care, and a lack of reliable coverage for things like dental work and many prescription drugs.
Canada's current ranking in debt
By using net debt as a share of the economy (GDP), Canada ranks 11th lowest of 29 countries and lowest amongst the G7. By using gross debt as a share of the economy, Canada falls to 25th of 29 countries and 4th in the G7. As They Downplay Canada’s True Debt Level, The Federal Government Drives Us Further Towards Crisis."
Leadership
In my opinion as a long time political observer and advocate I judge our Provincial and Federal leaders a totally 2nd rate. Lies, unacceptable behaviour, failed promises.waffling policies, self interest and lack of transparency contributes to lack of trust and that's only worse when (a lesser by vote)/party can govern when the popular vote goes against them.
Gnuck for now. I know this is unlikely to be read in any meaningful way, but I'm a dedicated writer of political and eclectic issues...so there. No ad hominem please!
