We don't vote for party leaders. We vote for representatives in each constituency. The liberals elected enough to form a government. That's how it works in Canada.
Nothing changed. Obviously the voters were satisfied with no change.

The conservatives won the popular vote by a substantial margin meaning people wanted change. The entire election was won in woke Toronto, CTV announced who won before the polls in Alberta and BC were closed. Politcally, there are only 2 provinces in Canada, Ontario and Quebec, the rest don't count.

If the people wanted 'change'they would have elected more of their representatives. No change in Alberta either was there?
The system was o.k. when Harper won.
It does work by population.

No change in Alberta either was there? Actually, if you bothered to check who was elected in the various ridings, there was quite a change in Alberta. 2 Liberals won, one in Calgary and the other in Edmonton. I'm sure both members will receive some minor cabinet post so Mr. Dressup can show how much he cares about the West.

So? Sue me. You lost the election. Live with it. This is where we can see that times have changed drastically. No campy, some of us DON'T have to live with it! That is to say, we have to live with what we consider a foul choice running our country but we DON'T have to just meekly accept it! We can stay bitter and resentful! We can refuse to give the Liberals any respect. We can treat them the same as any other corrupt bullies. We can stay silent while they are near to avoid their bullying as much as possible and spit in their direction when their backs are turned! We can highlight the corrupt actions of these buliies as much as possible, with our families and friends and in social media. We can encourage every one we meet to wait for the next inevitable election and vote for ABL - Anybody But Liberal! We can just bide our time and wait until the opportunity arises to give this childish bully back some of his own! Once we grudgingly accepted having our choice lose an election. Times have changed. Our society has become more divided than it has ever been before. We should reflect on WHY! We should examine WHO started pushing our society "progressive" and shoved those who disagreed aside as "deplorables". It is long past time to do unto others as they have been doing unto you! To paraphrase Rush Limbaugh, modern liberals define unity as agreeing with them and doing things their way. It is far past time to give them some emphatic pushback, as hard as possible! Wild Bill

Right on Bill... Racism and bigotry are now defined as anyone disagreeing with a Liberal.
The rise (but no seats) of the PPC party is giving the left conniptions, I saw two articles this morning opining breathlessly about the rise of the 'far right' and 'hate'. There will be more as they demonize the PPC and Conservatives. The Liberals have always been good at demonizing and forming a negative narrative about the opposition, also good at getting the vote out, did you read what Gerald Butts said on Twitter? Can't find it right now, will keep looking.

"No campy, some of us DON'T have to live with it!"
Wild Bill
We may have to (temporarily) put up with it. We may have to face the socialist and juvenile ongoings of the ethically condemned, sexually criticized, black faced egotist, incompetent poseur, but agreed, we sure don't have to ;
a) accept it b) roll over c) concede
OR live with it.
Several riding's were very close including mine. If O'toole or any following can hit the right buttons Trudeau and the Liberal entourage will be toast. How any can "live with it", if you have contempt for 'it' is not to my way of thinking. Sadly but not in surrender, I took the lawn sign down but NOT my guard!

We always need varying views so we have opportunity to make our points.
Going with the flow is not conducive to opposing opinions, politics or religion.
Keeping in mind of course, that an opinion differs from a fact.

And the right wingers are the problem solvers? The PPC ? Vote splitters and here you are praising them? You need a dose of sunshine.
