We've been watching Baptise season 2, Midsomer Murders season 22, Bosch new season, and some good movies in years 2000 or so. Those after the Pandemic seem full of $%#&^%%# and gay subject matter.
Lots to see if you use a search for, "best _____ films".

I watched a very good movie on Netflix, The Age of Adeline, no violence, porn or foul language. I recommend it. The last romantic movie that I recall watching was When Harry Met Sally. Still the best tag line in a movie.."I'll have what she's having", Though not important enough to be given a name, "Woman in Diner" (played by the director Rob Reiner's mother Estelle Reiner) ..

Haven`t seen that one.
I don`t generally watch Zombie shows but thought I`d see what The Walking Dead was about, it got great reviews etc. Well, I`m into it, but boy, a lot of violence.
I do believe that if there were an apocalyptical event with few survivors, no gov`t or law enforcement, it would be every man for himself, for the most part. IMO civilized society is only a veneer, it wouldn`t take long to break down.

As a kid and stil to a degree, I like Werewolves and vampires, but not schlock stuff must be well done. We like Mysteries,Crime - and action shows. I like offbeat movies that slip under the radar. The odd well done SciFi is 'K' too

Wildlife Rescue in B.C.
My favourite TV program is the Northern Lights Wildlife shelter located near beautiful Smithers B.C. It was founded and is still run with a crew of volunteers by Angelika and Peter Langden, zookeepers from Germany. Their primary focus has always been on rescuing orphan wild black bears from all over B.C. In recent years they have been caring for orphans of every kind including squirrels, woodpeckers, ravens, moose calves, deer, elk, etc. We watch the TV show on Animal Planet and it is fun to watch the antics of the babies particularly the moose calves and bear cubs.
B.C. is a huge province sparsely populated except in the lower quarter. The remainder of the Province is heavily forested with the occasional small town scattered along the highways. All sorts of wildlife come to grief along the highways often leaving very young animals orphans and often injured. When Conservation Officers or anyone call about an orphan, Angelika and Peter respond, often driving hundreds of miles to rescue babies with appropriate bottles or food for the babies then drive for hours back to the shelter. All rescued animals are then quarantined and assessed for injuries and if medical care is needed, they are treated by local vets. After quarantine, they are introduced to others of their kind in l.penned enclosures. Then they are observed to see how they interact with others. That’s when the fun begins because each baby has its own personality, some are very shy, others aggressive while all are fun to watch because many bear cubs are natural clowns and love to play in pens filled with challenging bathtubs, trees, platforms, hollow logs and other toys.

I don't think we get that here, at least I haven't seen it.
I started watching a Netflix series Animal Kingdom, yikes, and that grandmother, quite the skank.
We are waiting for Yellowstone season 4 which is coming soon, so they say. Also got hubby to promise to go with me to see the new James Bond movie if it ever makes it here.

The entire first 3 seasons of Yellowstone were on the Paramount channel over the labour day weekend. I recorded them all and just yesterday finished up, a total of over 30 hrs of a good series, definitely worth watching especially when you can skip all the commercials. I wait with anticipation for Season 4 to start in early Nov. This past week many of the new shows are starting again, we have a few faves but Bluebloods on Friday night is one of the best.
