I will concede on the two who were armed even if one of them had a skateboard who the defense claimed, he was going to decapitate Kyle and the other guy had a gun.
But for Rosenbaum? Unarmed against a guy with an AR15 an immediate threat. No way Jose.
Kyle claimed he grabbed the gun. There's no evidence of that in the videos.
Four shots and the claim was to stop him? Reckless Homicide.

Past records were not allowed to be entered into the trial. And you knew that. So why do you bring it up. ?

There is something drastically amiss in any society when a juvenile* can illegally have a deadly weapon purchased, take it to a riotous location and be found not guilty of anything.
*A "juvenile" is a person who has not attained his eighteenth birthday, and "juvenile delinquency" is the violation of a law of the United States committed by a person prior to his eighteenth birthday which would have been a crime if committed by an adult. A person over eighteen but under twenty-one years of age is also accorded juvenile treatment if the act of juvenile delinquency occurred prior to his eighteenth birthday. See 18 U.S.C. § 5031.

Agree their gun culture and laws are not understandable to us. He should've been charged with illegal possession (under age) but as explained earlier, theew was a technicality with the way the law was written.
The video and evidence was clear, it was self defense. Not to mention he did take out a pedophile and scumbags.

Rosenbaum? You mean the pedophile with the long rap sheet? Wild Bill Exactly, and who knew criminals would carry guns to a 'peaceful protest' CNN Several clips played by both the defense and prosecution captured Joseph Rosenbaum briefly chasing Rittenhouse in a Car Source dealership before Rittenhouse fired four shots at the man. Richards, the defense attorney, played FBI infrared aerial footage, taken from nearly 9,000 feet in the air. Howard testified the video showed Rosenbaum hiding as Rittenhouse approaches the dealership lot, and Rosenbaum then starts to follow him. "As Kyle (Rittenhouse) ... comes to the Duramax, this individual, Mr. Rosenbaum, begins to come out of his hiding place," said Richards, pointing to Rosenbaum in a video. Howard confirmed the attorney's statement and confirmed Rosenbaum was wearing a mask. Richards also played a bystander video during which Howard, the lead investigator, testified Rittenhouse is seemingly heard saying "friendly, friendly, friendly" in the moments right around the start of the chase. "And it does not dissuade Mr. Rosenbaum, correct?" Richards said. Friend who bought gun for Kyle Rittenhouse says the teen was 'freaking out,' pale and sweaty after Kenosha shootings Friend who bought gun for Kyle Rittenhouse says the teen was 'freaking out,' pale and sweaty after Kenosha shootings "Correct," Howard responded. Around the two men, the detective testified that loud noises heard in a video clip are "bats or other blunt objects hitting cars in the Car Source lot." During the chase, he testifies Rosenbaum is "gradually gaining ground on Mr. Rittenhouse." An earlier clip showed Rosenbaum holding a plastic bag in his hand. Videos showed Rosenbaum throwing the plastic bag at Rittenhouse, but he was otherwise unarmed. His fiancée testified later in the week Rosenbaum had just gotten out of a hospital

Under the First Amendment, television and radio are protected speech. Very difficult to get a charge against them. Everyone talks about smears and maligned. Show me what you are talking about. I know you're a Rittenhouse fan.

He lied when he said Rosenbaum grabbed his gun. There's no evidence of that. That's why the defense wanted to block the video.

It was the judges interpretation of the law. He delayed ruling on it till the last minute so it was too late to be appealed. Sounds too fishy to me to be a coincidence. The intent of the law is perfectly clear. It's to allow a minor to be able to participate in certain events under supervision. (Exceptions). There's another trial coming up in January for the guy (Dominick Black) who bought and supplied the weapon. I'm waiting to see how they will prostitute that law.

Meanwhile parents have been charged in another case for proving a gun to the school boy who murdered schoolmates.
"Pontiac — Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald revealed Friday that the parents of the suspected Oxford High School shooter were aware their son had access to an unsecured weapon in their home, knew he'd been caught searching the internet for ammunition and that, the morning of the shooting, a teacher found a graphic picture the student had drawn of what he was about to do. "
"Jennifer and James Crumbley were each charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of Hana St. Juliana, 14; Madisyn Baldwin, 17; Tate Myre, 16; and Justin Shilling, 17. Ethan also is charged in their homicides." And are hiding out. Let's see how this one plays out in gun loving USA.

It's hard to say how this one will play out. It depends on the gun laws in Michigan and how weapons are to be stored safely.
I don't remember any other cases where the parents have been charged in a similar case.
